The Lake Travis Pool People, LLC is owned and operated by Taylor and Johne McMahon.

Taylor grew up in Lakeway and is a former Lake Travis Cavalier and Hudson Bend Buccaneer! She attended University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘Em!) before moving to Dallas for a public accounting job where she met her now husband, Johne.

Johne grew up in the Dallas area before leaving to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville (Woo Pig). A job in logistics brought him back to Dallas, but most recently he worked at a financial brokerage firm.

Taylor’s family owned a pool maintenance company in Lakeway for over 10 years, which is where she started learning the pool business. After leaving their accounting and finance jobs, Taylor and Johne picked up a pool route for Taylor’s parent’s business when they were understaffed. The two enjoyed the business and caring for people’s pools and opened their own in Dallas (The Dallas Pool People)!

After having a baby (JJ), the McMahon family decided it was time to move back to Lakeway. Thus, the Dallas Pool People became the Lake Travis Pool People!
